Real time B2B vehicle trading platform: the VendaMeuCarro case study

B2B platform for dealer to dealer vehicle transfers, with offers and negotiations in real time.

VendaMeuCarro feed showing a vehicle listing and an offer received in real time
The interface is in Portuguese: the system runs for a Brazilian client. The engineering is the same we ship abroad.

Client context

VendaMeuCarro is a platform where car dealers trade with each other: one dealer lists the vehicle it wants to move, other dealers see it in the feed, show interest and send offers, all inside the system.

Each listing shows the asking price against FIPE (Brazil's reference price table for used vehicles), mileage, fuel, color and notes such as minor damage to the seats, so the other dealer can decide fast and with the facts in view.

The problem

Dealer to dealer trading usually happens in group chats: a photo, a price and a message to talk in private. Nobody knows how many offers a car received, who saw it, or whether the price sits above or below the reference table.

The platform needed a feed that is fast to browse, offers that arrive the moment they are made, and an approval flow that does not depend on someone refreshing the page.

What we built

01

Vehicle feed

Cards with photos, a low mileage badge, price against FIPE with a visual bar, and buttons to pass, see details or show interest. A dealer gets through dozens of cars without opening each listing.

02

Offers in real time

The dealer receives an offer the moment it is sent, with the amount compared to the listing price, and approves or rejects it without leaving the feed. Pending offers stay in a visible queue.

03

Listings and search

Vehicle records with photos, specs and notes, plus filtered search for dealers looking for a specific model.

04

Matches and notifications

A matches area that gathers the interest between dealers, in-app alerts and transactional email through Resend so nobody misses an offer.

Stack, and why each piece

Next.js
The app, with server rendered pages and a feed that is fast to browse.
Supabase Realtime
Offers and matches arrive through a live subscription to Postgres, with no page reload.
Resend
Sends the platform's transactional email.

Questions about this project

Do you build custom B2B marketplaces?

Yes. Feed, listings, offers, matches and notifications are the standard parts of any business to business marketplace; what changes is the product being traded. Tell us yours and within 24 hours you get a written, fixed quote.

How does real time work in a system like this?

The screen subscribes to database changes. When an offer is saved, Postgres pushes the event and the other dealer's interface updates right away, instead of polling the server every second.

Can we start with an MVP?

Yes. A marketplace starts with feed, listing and offer; matches, advanced search and notifications come after the first dealers are using it.

What does a platform like this cost?

It depends on the modules, the expected volume and the integrations. We do not publish a price list: every project gets a fixed quote within 24 hours, with price and deliverables defined up front.

What about payments inside the platform?

We integrate them. We have worked with Stripe, Mercado Pago, BuckPay, Cakto and Paradise, and we built a payment gateway of our own, so charging a commission or a deposit inside a marketplace is familiar work.
