AI powered SaaS for TikTok Shop affiliates: the Tikfy case study

SaaS for TikTok Shop affiliates: viral product mining, AI image and video generation and an in-browser editor.

Tikfy dashboard with revenue for the day, an hourly chart and featured products
The interface is in Portuguese: the system runs for a Brazilian client. The engineering is the same we ship abroad.

Client context

Tikfy is a SaaS for people who sell as affiliates on TikTok Shop. It finds products and videos that are selling, shows which creators are pushing each product and helps produce the content with AI, all in one dashboard.

It is a product sold to many users, with training built into the platform and a referral program, designed to grow without a manual support team.

The problem

A TikTok Shop affiliate lives on speed: find the product that started selling today, record or generate the video today, publish before the wave passes. Doing that with five tools open and a commission spreadsheet does not scale.

The technical challenge was combining data mining, AI image and video generation and an editor that runs in the browser, without letting the AI API bill get out of hand.

What we built

01

Viral product and video mining

Product lists with price and commission, featured videos and creators with estimated GMV, and a search for products and opportunities. The affiliate sees what is gaining traction before spending time recording.

02

Revenue dashboard

Revenue for the day, sales, orders, average ticket, daily goal and an hourly chart, with 7, 15 and 30 day views. The dashboard opens on the number that matters.

03

AI creation studio

Image and video generation, virtual influencers, a prompt builder, AI scripts and saved projects. Content is created inside the product, next to the data on what is selling.

04

In-browser editor

Video editing straight in the browser, nothing to install. Someone working from a phone and a borrowed laptop can publish the same way.

05

Account and growth

Training inside the platform, a referral program and a user profile. The part that makes a SaaS grow without a support team.

Stack, and why each piece

Next.js
App and API in one project, with server rendered pages.
Supabase
Postgres, authentication and storage for projects and media.
Runware
Image generation API used in the creation studio.
Google GenAI
Google models for video and text generation.

Questions about this project

Do you build AI SaaS products from scratch?

Yes. From multi-tenant data modeling to the AI studio, billing and onboarding. Tikfy is one example in production. Tell us the idea and within 24 hours you get a written, fixed quote.

How do you keep AI API costs under control in a SaaS?

Limits per plan, a queue for heavy jobs and usage tracking per user. The product has to know what each generation costs before it offers unlimited generations.

Can we launch an MVP before the full product?

Yes, and it is usually the right path. A SaaS like Tikfy starts with one module that already delivers value and grows as the first users pay.

What does a SaaS like Tikfy cost?

It depends on the modules, the AI integrations and the expected number of users. We do not publish a price list: every project gets a fixed quote within 24 hours, with price and deliverables defined up front.

Who runs the infrastructure after launch?

The same engineers who built it. Monitoring, cost tuning, fixes and new features stay with us, and you talk directly to the people who wrote the code.
